A downloadable game for Windows

- THE GAME -

Nine in line is a turn-based, two-player strategy game in which your objective is to be the first person to align three pieces in the main Tic-Tac-Toe board. This game is a version of Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe.

- HOW TO PLAY -

The game stage is composed of two main parts

  1. The playing board: It is composed of a 9x9 grid, divided in groups of 3x3 boards. Each 3x3 is its own individual Tic-Tac-Toe board. This is where the players will place their pieces.
  2. The main board: The bigger, isolated Tic-Tac-Toe board. This board decides the winner.

You  can see an example of a new game in picture 1.

To place a piece on the main board, the player must win the corresponding board on the playing board (picture 2).

When the game starts, the first player may move their piece anywhere on the playing board. However, from that point on, the next player will have to  place their piece on the 3x3 board positioned in the same place relative to the 9x9 grid as the piece the previous player put relative to their 3x3 board.

As an example, if player1 put their piece on the top-left corner, player2 will have to play on the top-left board, except if the top-left board is already complete or won. In that case, the player may move whenever he likes (picture 3).
